Dear Gary,

I would love to share with you my success of helping my 9 year old daughter with EFT using metaphors and humor. The session helped her heal her symptoms as well as helped me grow in my role as a mom. Here it  goes:

"Frog in my throat"

My 9 year old daughter was having a itchy, and scratchy throat. I asked if she would like to use EFT to help her feel better, and she agreed.

Here’s what we did:

“Even though my throat is scratchy and itchy, and it feels like there’s a frog in it, I am a good girl.” and we proceeded to tap using the short cut version of EFT (From EB to UA, and then tap on the top of the head).

“Even though the frog can’t say ribbit, ribbit, but what came out is more like ‘uurgh, uurgh,” I am a good girl anyway.”

“Even though the frog is hanging around in my throat as if it wants to catch a bug, I am a good girl.” By this time, she was giggling.

Then I asked her what kind of bug did the frog want to catch? And she said, “Mom.”

So, we tapped “Even though the frog in my throat wants to catch my mom because she is bugging me, I am a good girl.”

“Even though mom is driving me crazy and I really want to tell her to bug off, I am a still a wonderful girl.”

Then, she said, with much laughter, “I am all good now, Mom!”

Her throat was cleared and no longer felt itchy. More importantly, I also learned to give her more space.

Thanks to EFT, my daughter and I have an even deeper relationship than before: one of deeper understanding and a greater level of respect for each other’s personal space.

Best Regards,
