Hi Everyone,

You have to admire the way Roseanna Ellis approaches this young man and then tests how well EFT worked. After EFT, the boy said to his mother, "I held the dirt, Mom, and I don’t even want to wash my hands, can Roseanna come back again next week?”

Hugs, Gary

I was working on a woman who had right foot pain at an intensity level of 10 out of 10.  While working on her she told me that she had immense fear of being alone.  She had five children. She said, “When my husband has to go away on a business trip, I cry for weeks before he leaves because I am so scared to be alone.”

Her eleven year old son hopped into the room complaining that his right foot was killing him.  She dismissed him and she told me that her son had a host of fears.  She said she was worried about him because he was going away to camp and he fears everything.  Everything had to be neat and clean for him or he freaks out.

I had already used EFT on her foot pain and asked if I could return the following day to work on her son’s fear.  She worried that he would not let me work on him and I told her to tell him I was coming to work on his foot.  She agreed.

I arrived and greeted Jimmy (not his real name).  He was shy and very nervous but very polite.  I told him I was here to fix his foot like I did his Mom.  He agreed.  As I was working on his foot I decided to introduce EFT as a pain control mechanism.  He was a little squeamish about me touching his face but was very impressed with the results.  His pain went from a 8 on a scale of 0 to 10 down to 2 out of 10 within 10 minutes.

This opened the door to work EFT on some of his fear issues.  I asked him what he was afraid of and he said “basically everything”.  I asked if he was afraid of going to camp and he began to get very fidgety and responded nervously, “Yes because I am afraid that everything will be filthy, there will be dirt and bugs everywhere, spider cobwebs will be over my face in the morning.  Bees will chase after me and sting me”.  He went on nervously for a long time about all the things that would cause him stress at camp.  I asked if he feared being alone and he looked sad and admitted he was.  He reported all issues were 10 on a scale of 0 to 10.  We began EFT for the following issues:

Even though everything in that camp is filthily dirty…

Even though the bugs are going to crawl over me…

Evan though there are going to be cobwebs over my face every morning when I wake up…

Even though bees are going to chase me and sting me…

Even though I will be afraid of being alone with three dozen kids around me…  He laughed.

We worked on each issue until all were at a level of intensity of 0 out of 10.  He took a short break to show me family pictures from his cell phone.  I felt he must have needed this.  I usually go with the flow when it comes to kids.  He got back up on the table and we worked on his foot again.  This time the pain level dropped to 0 out of 10.  He walked around and tested the foot.  He was very happy with the results.

I wanted to test him for some of his dirt issues to see if they really were down to a zero.  I told him I needed him to walk outside barefooted to test the foot.  He agreed.  He walked on the grass, the driveway, and in the dirt.  When I brought his attention to where he was standing he laughed.  I picked up some dirt and showed it to him.  He looked at it curiously and took the dirt from my hand and said, “It feels kind of nice.”  He ran into the house and was so excited to tell his Mom about his adventure outside.

He said “I held the dirt Mom and I don’t even want to wash my hands, can Roseanna come back again next week?”  Mom’s foot pain was down to a 2 out of 10 from a 10 out of 10 the day before.  She agreed to have me back the following week to tap on her fear of being alone issue.
