Using EFT for Sleep Apnea

Important Note: This article was written prior to 2010 and is now outdated. Please use my newest advancement, Optimal EFT. It is more efficient, more powerful and clearly explained in my free e-book, The Unseen Therapist™.  Best wishes, Gary

Hi Everyone,

Perry Fred Finck gives us this common sense example of using EFT for his friend's Sleep Apnea. He simply listened to his friend's emotional frustrations at work and aimed his tapping at those issues. Success.

Hugs, Gary

By Perry Fred Finck

I previously had a neighbor who came by on his vacation. Junior's Dad had worked in middle management and was now retired because he had sleep apnea.

Listening to him talk I realized that he was put into a position of having to say yes to everyone, and unable to say no to anyone. He listened to those above him and had to agree. He listened to those below him and he had to agree, but he wasn't able to tell anyone that both those above him and those below him had valid points.

He felt that he had to retire because he could not remember names of those who he was supervising any more due to the sleep apnea, and thus he was not able to continue on working.

After he left and got back home I called him to see if he arrived safely and asked if he was up to a little experiment for his problem. He said yes, and I took the information that I listed above and had him tap on those circumstances.

That is being in the middle, and not being able to tell those above him of the valid points of those below him.

GC COMMENT: Possible examples for tapping might be:

"Even though I'm always in the middle and it seems very frustrating...."

"Even though this may remind me of some childhood confusion..." (Important because this could lead to dealing with SPECIFIC EVENTS in his past)

"Even though I've never liked this feeling of not being in control..."

"Even though these circumstances make me feel small just like I may have felt as a child..."

FRED CONTINUES: I then had him tap for sleep apnea.

GC COMMENT: More possible tapping issues:

"Even though I don't breathe normally at night..."

"Even though my breath stops sometimes at night instead of breathing continuously as I am designed to do...."

"Even though my sleep is, so far, abnormally interrupted..."

FRED CONTINUES: I have phoned him several times and found out that he has had success. He rarely wakes and when he does for nightly trips to the toilet he is able to go back to sleep quickly and effectively.

Sleep apnea has many bad affects on people. You are likely to fall asleep while doing things such as driving. He no longer fears that or any of the other aspects of the previously held problem.
