This brief article by Eric Robins, MD involves a case where EFT produced noticeable pain relief after oral antibiotics failed.

By Eric Robins, MD

Hi Gary,

I have a patient who is a 66 year old black male. I first saw him in the urology clinic in July of 2003. At that time, he complained of a several month history of severe pain in his scrotum, testicles, and perineum, and this pain radiated to his lower back. He gave this pain a 10 out of 10 in intensity. I first tried a course of oral antibiotics to empirically treat him for prostatitis, but this didn't help. I then did one (5 minute) EFT session with him and the pain seemed to be reduced.

Subsequently, I ordered an MRI scan of his lower back which revealed a slipped disc at L4-5. To be honest, I'm not certain whether that disc was contributing to his pain or not, as a large percentage of normal people with no pain (25-80%) have a slipped disc and are asymptomatic.

I just saw him back in the clinic today, 11 months after the EFT. He reported that after the one session, his testicle and perineal pain were 80% improved. This has been durable for almost a year!!!! He was still having some back pain and stiffness which we tapped for today, and reduced both to an intensity of zero.

NOT BAD RESULTS USING EFT FOR 5 MINUTES IN A BUSY MEDICAL CLINIC.

Best,
