EFT helps a 12 year old girl with a dentist fear go from screaming and crying to singing

Hi Everyone,

Take this story by Gillian Leclair (from France) to your dentist. While it doesn't give the details of the EFT session, it DOES clearly depict a result for which dentists (and everyone involved) would gladly give a standing ovation.

Hugs, Gary

Hi, I'm writing to say 'wow' for EFT.  My 12 year old daughter has never been able to let the dentist do her fillings.  She has 9 to fill.  Great dentist, nice nurse – both are family friends but that didn’t help her.  I downloaded the EFT manual, did EFT on her, but to no avail.  She just said, “it's not working, you can't do it.”  So I was frustrated.

During the summer holidays she went to the UK to my mother’s who is also trying out EFT.   Mum sent her to EFT practitioner, Karen Oliver in Woking, Surrey.  When my daughter came back from the UK, I tried to get her to tell me about the tapping but she said it was never going to work and she didn't want to talk about it.  I was again disappointed as I would like to have known what a professional had done and said.

Anyway, I waited a while then made a dentist appointment recently.  We went quietly as always in the car.  Instead of going in we walked around a little park outside (she hates the smell of the dentist) and waited our turn.  Gemma was called in and I waited in the waiting room.  There was no screaming, shouting, crying!  Then there was loud singing as Gemma came back down the corridor.

She came into the waiting room followed by a surprised nurse to wait for the local anesthetic to take effect.  She continued singing and built a Lego tower.  When the dentist came back to get her for the filling he asked me quietly if I had taken her to Lourdes!  I told him that I would explain if the rest went ok.  Well it did.  Both the nurse and the dentist couldn't believe it.  I told them to look EFT up on the internet as there is a French site for it.

Well Gemma continued singing, said that she was very surprised at the size of the hole in her tooth once the dentist had cleaned it, that there was no problem at all.  We have made an appointment for a few more fillings, this time on the other side of her mouth.  I don't think anybody could have a daughter worse for the dentist than Gemma was. She has refused treatment, even the checkup itself was an ordeal for her. Screaming, crying then shaking and unable to mutter a word.
