EFT to clear chakras and increase vibration

As Dr. Carol Look and others have pointed out, it is our vibrations or feelings, more so than our thoughts, that manifest through the Law of Attraction. Naturally, if we are not manifesting that which we desire, it would be helpful to identify which emotions are impeding our good vibrations so that we can tap them out with EFT.

I recently conducted an EFT for Weight-loss workshop that incorporated the Law of Attraction. One attendee identified a “hole” in her heart that she filled with food. As an exercise, the whole class pictured filling the holes in their heart with love.

After the first round, the class members reported varying success. But the exercise reminded me of Gary Craig’s Constricted Breathing Technique where people tapped on filling their lungs more deeply. So I tried the same with “filling the heart with love.”

I asked the class to estimate as a percentage how successfully they were able to fill their heart right now. Answers ranged from 60 to 80%. We tapped:  Even though I could only partially fill my heart with love...

Using this setup phrase, the class was able to increase the amount of love they could pour into their heart center. At the end of the session, the class left excited that they had learned a new, expansive technique.

Now, I don’t have more than a rudimentary knowledge of chakras, but it made sense to me that if we could use EFT on the heart chakra, then it should be a useful tool for clearing all the chakras and bringing them into balance. It might also be useful in identifying and clearing emotions that impede our vibrations in utilizing the Law of Attraction.

The Chakra Clearing Technique

For this exercise we will identify the chakras as:

#7  The Crown Chakra - located at the top of the head

#6  The Brow Chakra - located behind the brow or third eye

#5  The Throat Chakra

#4  The Heart Chakra

#3  The Power Chakra - located in the solar plexus

#2  The Sacral Chakra - located in the abdomen, lower back and sex organs

#1  The Base Chakra - located at the base of the spine.

#0  The Foot Chakra

You’ll want to set aside some private time (30 minutes). Start by sitting comfortably in a chair with feet flat on the floor to ground yourself. Lying down is okay too, but “grounding” allows you to bring source energy through all the chakras to the earth. So much the better if you can do this exercise outside with bare feet on the lawn.

As you sit comfortably, imagine bringing a white light down through the top of your head. The image of the white light may be replaced with golden light, love, a sacred sound, or whatever else might be more comfortable to you. The exercise works in either direction as well, so if you are more comfortable bringing energy up from your base, that is fine too.

As the white light passes through the top of your head, notice whether you have any resistances. If all is clear, do one simple tapping sequence (with no setup) to tap that well-being in. (For more information, see Pat Carrington’s technique, Tapping in the Positive.

However, you may feel resistant spots. They may feel like emotions or blockages, or you may see them inwardly as dark spots. As you are still imagining the white light, start your EFT setup phrase. If you are able to identify the emotion, fine, but if not just keep the image in your mind.

Even though I have this [image of blockage]…

After the blockage is cleared, check the Crown Chakra again to see if there are any more blockages. If so, clear them as well. As you are clearing them, you may get a thought or insight as to what the blockage is and what it affects in your life. Go ahead and tap on that specifically.

As you pass down through each chakra, you might come across a blockage that you cannot completely clear. That is okay. Imagine yourself pushing it to one side and letting the light energy flow past it. The uncleared blockage would be a place to work on in another EFT session.

You may notice associations. I noticed that my vibrations that hindered the flow of money were vibrating from my Base Chakra, but fear was most prevalent in the Heart Chakra, although sometimes it was located in my Throat Chakra. I needed to go back and forth quite a bit between chakras.

My wife Julie noticed that on the way down, the only blockage in her throat chakra had to do with not standing up for herself. But when she started on her heart chakra and tapped on a blob of hurts and disappointments, she had to rush back up to her throat chakra to take care of a big lump of sadness that appeared. She found “overwhelm” in the Power Chakra (solar plexus) and, like me, her money flow was blocked in the Base Chakra. She tapped on:

Even though I have this brown, six-sided plug blocking my Base Chakra, blocking my money flow, and it has something to do with my judging others harshly...

Toward the end, to check that everything is cleared, you can let the light flow up and down through all the chakras unhindered. My wife likes to stand up for this part. It is a wonderful feeling - tap it in!

Once you have cleared the emotional blockages as well as you can from your chakras, imagine that which you are trying to manifest using the Law of Attraction. Without the distraction of the emotional static you just cleared, you should be able to feel it more clearly. “Fix” it in your consciousness by tapping it into place.  If you trigger more emotional blockages, clear them if you can, or note them for later work.

My wife and I found this exercise to be invigorating and life enhancing. Everything sparkles afterward. Okay, it may take longer than 30 minutes the first time, but it’s worth it.

Now that you have identified the vibration of that which you desire, you can choose to feel that vibration throughout your day. The more often you can vibrate in harmony with that which you desire, the faster it will come into manifestation.
