Dear Gary,

It always amazes me how people over 40 panic when they become injured. They fear that their age inhibits recovery. I explain the energy theory and quantum healing ... that healing is an innate gift that we were born with.

I bring them back to when they were very young and how they use to play hard and injure themselves all the time. But that the body healed quickly because there was no stress or fear involved in the injury. Their thoughts were on healing quickly in order to play with their friends again.

Now that they are older and there is a lot more stress in their lives, an injury creates worry, they get angry at themselves, and they fear losing their ability to play sports again. All this, I explain, disrupts the energy system and healing becomes compromised. Once they realize that the body heals itself whether young or old and that it is the emotions that delays or stops recovery, then they begin to understand.

George, a 50 year old man came today for treatment of his neck. He had injured it while lifting weights at the gym six days ago. His pain was rated at a 9 on a 0-10 scale (9/10) which increasde to 10/10 upon any motion. His neck range was restricted by 60% in all directions.

EFT was performed on his complaints such as:

This neck pain at a level 9/10 ..until the pain went down to 2/10.

This neck tightness....It remained tight even after 4 rounds. I asked what did he think was stopping the neck from wanting to move? He answered "a wall" We tapped for "this wall" until he gained 90% movement.

I asked "how did you feel when you first got the injury"? He replied "I was so scared because I became light-headed and was afraid I'd faint". We tapped for "Even though I was scared that I was going to faint."

That did the trick, The pain decreased to 0/10. Then we again tapped for "this tightness, this restriction a few more times... He gained full range of motion.

The EFT treatment was 25 minutes. Then I stretched him for 30 minutes. He was very pleased and admitted he was sure the EFT would not work...

Love,

Roseanna
