Does language matter when doing EFT?

Hi Everyone,

Member Gilda Grace is a relative newcomer to EFT and asks this question:

Hi, Gary,

Question: When you're working with someone whose native language is not English, does it matter if they say their affirmation in the set-up in their own language or in English? Same for the phrase they use while tapping?

Gilda Grace

GC REPONSE: No. It doesn't matter what language is used. The client must, however, "tune in" to the problem. This can even be done with non-verbal clients. Visit our web site and read the Case History entitled "EFT with a Mentally Retarded Patient." This post by Tom Altaffer should give you still more insight into this process.

Hope this helps.

Gary
