Hi Everyone,

Here's a quickie first aid use for EFT from Charmaine Campbell of Canada. In her article she says, "The pain stopped by the end of the 3rd round of tapping and the redness and swelling also stopped extending.  I kept checking on the bite and by the time I got back to the hotel, about 3 hours later, there was only a tiny spot on my arm as evidence that anything had happened.  The pain, redness, and swelling never returned."

I was recently bitten on my arm by a spider in a tropical rain forest in Jamaica when I was on vacation.  I felt a burning, stinging sensation on my lower arm and looked to see a small brown spider biting me.  I quickly brushed off the spider and had a look at the area. It was painful and quickly turning red and becoming swollen. I had taken an antihistamine cream with me on vacation but as luck would have it I had left it behind at the hotel when I left on this excursion into the rain forest.

I thought to myself that I just had to tough it out as I did not want to ruin everybody's fun but it was becoming pretty painful.  Then I decided to try EFT on it; after all I had nothing to lose.  I tapped the KC point:

Even though I have been bitten by a spider and it is really painful and red my body knows how to heal itself quickly and safely…

I tapped using phrases such as: this burning stinging pain on my arm… this spider bite… this redness.  Then I used EFT to tap on forgiving the spider for biting me as he was only defending his turf. I tapped on forgiving myself for anything I did to cause him to bite me, and I also tapped using the words, I allow my body to quickly and easily heal from this spider bite.  No one even noticed me tapping.

The pain stopped by the end of the 3rd round of tapping and the redness and swelling also stopped extending.  I kept checking on the bite and by the time I got back to the hotel, about 3 hours later, there was only a tiny spot on my arm as evidence that anything had happened.  The pain, redness, and swelling never returned.

By the way I also used EFT on some mosquito bites that were particularly bothersome due to itching.  The itching stopped, the redness faded and I tapped for the mosquitoes to go somewhere else and leave me alone and to my utter surprise I was not bitten even one more time!  I still have difficulty with believing that could have kept them away. Was that a coincidence or what?

With gratitude for your gift of EFT.
