Handling vertigo symptoms over the phone

Important Note: This article was written prior to 2010 and is now outdated. Please use my newest advancement, Optimal EFT. It is more efficient, more powerful and clearly explained in my free e-book, The Unseen Therapist™.  Best wishes, Gary

Edward Miner, a hypnotherapist and newcomer to EFT, successfully handles vertigo over the phone. Please note how he digs for aspects along the way. Also, as he correctly indicates, it is unknown at this time as to whether or not this "fix" is permanent. That will only be known as time unfolds. It is always possible that other aspects will show up. If so, that doesn't mean that EFT "didn't work." Rather, it means that there is more to do.

Gary,

Thank you so much for EFT. I am a Hypnotherapist and am always looking for better ways to help people get over their problems. I ordered the The EFT Course and Steps toward becoming the Ultimate Therapist less than two weeks ago. They arrived a week ago today and I started watching the videos immediately (I had previously downloaded the manual from your website and had read through the first part). I started using the "Basic Recipe" on myself even before the videos arrived and I've had "awesome" results. I finished "he EFT Course on Friday, and have been thinking about how to integrate it into my practice.

Last evening, I talked with my sister, who lives in another state, about a condition of severe vertigo. She was in a minor automobile accident two weeks ago, experienced whiplash, and several days later started experiencing the vertigo. I had EFT in the back of my mind, but being so new at it I hesitated to bring it up.

Today I received your newsletter with the link to your conversation concerning vertigo. As I read the description of the condition, it was as if I was listening to my sister, and I made up my mind to call her tonight and suggest EFT.

I just got off the phone with her and want to report that she was symptom free when I hung up. In all it took about 15 minutes to explain EFT and run through it about 4 times, testing between each run. I initially started the set up with "Even though I have this vertigo and dizziness I completely love and accept myself", but didn't see much movement. I adjusted to "Even though I have this vertigo and dizziness I completely forgive myself or anyone else who may have contributed to it." After a run through and a 9 gamut procedure, she was experiencing no symptoms. I had her move around a lot more and she found that when she tipped her head back she still had a dizzy feeling but the rotation was slower. When I asked her if the feeling had an emotion, she said "annoyance", so we tapped on "the annoyance emotion". Subsequent testing could find no more feelings of dizziness.

She was amazed because she said that this was the worst time of day, just before she went to bed, and just prior to taking her medicine.

I told her that I didn't know if it would last, however, that now she has a way to handle the symptoms in less than 5 minutes.

I've been sold since I started working on myself, however this newbie is elated because I was able to hear the healing happen more than 700 miles from where I was sitting as I talked her through the process.
