Hi Everyone,

Leonne James from Australia successfully used for EFT for her dis-believing husband's kidney stone pain. Please note the delayed reaction that occurred here. This happens frequently with EFT.

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary,

My husband is not a great believer in the healing modalities I use such as Reiki and EFT. He thinks it is OK for “little stuff” but not for serious stuff and he has never allowed me to use either on him, even when he has needed to take pain killers. He has had gout on several occasions and a couple of trips to the hospital with kidney stones.

A couple of weeks after a recent trip to the hospital with a kidney stone, he walked into my office at work and said he had some kidney pain and he was obviously restless and uncomfortable and starting to sweat a little. He had taken paracetamol a while before with no result. We were at a very intensive work period and I did not need to spend half the day hanging about at the hospital, so I suggested I could do some Reiki or EFT on him. He didn’t respond but kept hanging around in my office leaning on my filing cabinet.

He was obviously not going to go away, even though he had not agreed to let me help him. I told him I didn’t have time to deal with sick people today and I was going to tap on him. As I figured this would probably be the only chance I was going to get, I got stuck into it (very firmly). I did the tapping on him as he was not comfortable with doing it himself. I knew the “deeply and completely accept myself” bit would be too freaky for him so I just went with:

Even though I have this kidney pain, I need it to clear… pain needs to go away. I need this kidney pain to go away. I don’t have time for this today.

I did the sequence three or four times through, including, wrists, and ankle points, and then did the 9 gamut for good measure. He wouldn’t hum “Happy Birthday” so I did the humming and counting out loud myself.  I told him it may take a few minutes to work as I find on myself the results can sometimes take 5-10 minutes to really kick in.

A few minutes later I asked him how the pain was and he said about the same. About 20 minutes later he walked into my office, folder under his arm to tell me he was going to a board meeting in town and, “I will ring you if I end up in the hospital!”  The strain had gone from his face and he was back functioning.  That evening I asked him how he had gotten on with the pain and he said, “It just went away”.  I grinned quietly to myself. I will notch that up as another success for EFT even though I am not sure he would admit it.

Keep up the great work!

Kind Regards,

Leonne James
