Two rounds of EFT eliminates PMS related pain and nausea

Important Note: This article was written prior to 2010 and is now outdated. Please use my newest advancement, Optimal EFT. It is more efficient, more powerful and clearly explained in my free e-book, The Unseen Therapist™.  Best wishes, Gary

Hi Everyone,

EFT has provided many good results for cramps and menstrual issues. Here is another example from Elly Yule. Note how her pain and nausea subsided after only two rounds of EFT. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary,

I am fairly new to EFT and am delighted to have found such an easy technique that has had such fast, effective, long lasting results for myself, my family and my clients.  Today is a perfect example of needing it for me.

I am going through menopause and am also a Gilbert’s Syndrome sufferer which has become more acute with my menopause.  I have a terrible time with my Moontime (period) each month.  The cramps are so severe they trigger nausea (sometimes vomiting) and diarrhea, my temperature goes shooting up and I start sweating profusely and my legs go weak.  I have to keep moving and walking around as sitting or lying down makes me throw up.  This process always lasts for exactly four hours.  In Chinese medicine this is caused by my Liver invading my Spleen and I have to be very careful not to build toxicity in my system leading up to my Moontime.

I have a background in psychotherapy and am also trained in the Way of the Feminine, so I know that my body is trying to tell me something and I need to rest and look inwards at its message.  However, sometimes I cannot rest as much as I would like to when I have orders that I need to get out to clients.

The usual pattern started again this morning when there was work I had to do, so I sat down and did some deep breathing and started tapping.  I started on the KC point reminding myself that I deeply and completely love and accept myself.  I swapped and repeated this on the other hand saying I accept and honour my body’s processes.  I then did a full round on the EFT points:

  • Eyebrow: Nausea
  • Side of Eye: Fear
  • Under Eye: Panic
  • Under Nose: Dizziness
  • Chin: Pain
  • Collarbone: Want to be well
  • Under Arm: Out of control
  • Top of Head: Weak

I did another round of tapping the EFT points:

  • Eyebrow: I am safe
  • Side of Eye: I trust my body’s processes
  • Under Eye: I deeply and completely love and accept all parts of me
  • Under Nose: I know that this will soon pass
  • Chin: I surrender
  • Collarbone: The pain will ease
  • Under Arm: The nausea will subside
  • Top of Head: I will be well

I then finished with points that I learned on your wonderful Steps Toward Becoming the Ultimate Therapist DVD, using all four fingers and tapping flat on the forearm above the wrist, then on the inside of the wrist, repeating on other arm.  Followed by using both hands to tap the outside and inside of the lower leg just above the ankle.  (I find this really helpful and it has turned out to be a good grounding way to finish rounds with clients).

Needless to say the pain subsided after these two rounds, the wave of nausea stopped and I was able to get a little work done before stopping to have some quiet time again.

Love and Blessings
