Hi Everyone,

Wanna change a life? Just use EFT with children. By relieving important emotional issues at a young age you free the child to flower without these unnecessary limits. Don't you wish someone had done this with you?

Hugs, Gary

I have had great results using EFT on my son.  I tapped on him while we talked about his fears about performing in our church's Christmas program last December.  They had two practices, one of which he missed because we were out of town and the other in which he burst into tears and refused to participate.

He was almost 6 years old and this was his first Christmas program.  So, I sat him down and tapped on him (although he was reluctant at first) while we talked about what to expect at the program, and what his fears were (mainly getting up in front of all those people).  He was very nervous about "everyone looking at him."

I wasn't sure if it would work but I figured it wouldn't hurt to tap.  As a side note, I also tapped on my own fears that he'd bawl in front of everyone and I'd have to go rescue him and my feelings of embarrassment and shame if that happened (feeling like I shouldn't have pushed him if he wasn't ready, etc.)

So, we tapped together for maybe five minutes or so, and while we were tapping (about 2 minutes into it), he said, "Mom ... I think I could be brave and say my piece."  He was to say a short, assigned message into the microphone and then sing a short song with his class.  I continued tapping on him for a few more minutes to "cement" that idea in and hoped for the best.

Well, that evening was the program and Andrew did so great!  He went in front of the crowd, with no problem and said his piece into the microphone loud and clear and sang his song so nicely with his classmates.  He was so proud of himself and I was so proud of him.  The teachers were so impressed by the change in him from practice to the night of the program.

Another incident EFT helped him with was when he was bullied in the bathroom at school by an older kid.  My son ended up wetting his pants on the way home because he was scared to use the bathroom on his own.  He did make the teacher stand right around the corner when he had to go but still held some urine back since he was trying to hurry.

Again, we just talked about it while I tapped on him, stopping to repeat with him a few times when he got to an upsetting point in his story.  He was able to put the incident out of his mind and go on with his day, happily playing with his sisters.

A few days later, he proudly told me he had a new boy in his class and his teacher asked him to show the new boy where the bathroom was.  He did so without any intensity whatsoever.

Thank you EFT - I am so happy I can show the kids (and many others) how helpful this simple tool can be to use.
