I have been allergic to bees since I was little. I have been stung quite a few times so this "truth" was nicely embedded in my brain. The other part of this story is that I love to garden. I love flowers. I love dirt. So just for a moment imagine me playing calmly in my garden until a bee buzzes by and then imagine me flinging my arms all over the place and basically freaking out! There is a bit of a conflict here.

And since the bees won't stop being bees and enjoying my flowers, I decided that it was time to tap on this. As I sat with my big fear I quickly realized that there were various aspects to deal with:

1 They buzz which made the hair on my neck stand up.
2. They buzz around me making me fling my arms around uncontrollably, my heart races and my vision gets blurry.
3. When I get stung, it hurts and itches and I blow up like a balloon.
4. They KNOW that I am allergic to them and so they invite all of their bee friends to hang out around me buzzing like crazy and freaking me out even more.

The one with the biggest charge? Number 4. So, here is how I tapped on it:

Even though the bees know that I am allergic to them and they are out to bug me, they are out to freak me out. I just know it!! It is possible, maybe that they are just doing what bees do!

Even though the bees KNOW that I am allergic to them, maybe they are bored and they are having fun freaking me out! Maybe, just maybe they are doing what bees do gathering pollen in all of the beautiful flowers that I grow!

Even though the bees need to STOP being bees... and maybe I can forgive the bees for being bees. Maybe!

Tapping on the rest of the standard EFT points, I focused on the various parts of the set up phrasing:
Bees knowing that I am allergic to them.
Bees wanting to invite their friends in to relieve some inner boredom.
Bees needing to stop being bees.

Now, I must say here that this was far from a one minute wonder. This was more like a month long wonder. I would get the fears and the story line down to a level of intensity of 0 on a scale of 0 to 10 and then it would come back in a few days. The trick for me with this particular fear was to stay consistently tapping on it. When the fear would get down to zero I would test it.

GC COMMENT: It is likely that the process could be accelerated and be more permanent by using EFT on the Specific Events in the past that may underlie this allergy/fear. 

I have a great spot to do this. I sat down on some steps in my garden and listened to the bees buzzing. If I had any charge, I just sat there and tapped until I felt relaxed.

I am excited to share that I am now enjoying my garden and when a bee flies close to me I feel calm and relaxed. I have had a few times when the hair stands up on my neck, but after a round of tapping that response is gone.

My friend is bringing some bee hives onto her property soon and maybe, just maybe I will come by for a visit.

GC COMMENT: Now that the fear seems to have improved, it would be interesting to see if the allergy is still there.  I presume one would have to be stung to test that, so we will have to wait until that day that happens. It would be inadvisable to test by being stung on purpose.
