Sometimes core issues just show up after a little tapping

EFt Tapping Outdated ImageNote: This is one of 3,000 articles written prior to the updated Gold Standard (Official) EFT Tapping Tutorial™. As a result, it is likely outdated. Hi Everyone,

Mair Llewellyn describes her experience of resolving a sadness issue that she didn't know was there UNTIL she had done some EFT'ing on other issues. Experienced practitioners see this with some frequency. It is as though we resolve some surface issues that had previously "covered" a larger issue. Sometimes core issues just show up after a little tapping.

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary,

This is something with a little different twist for you I think. I did not know I had any real emotional problems. Maybe typical perhaps of a therapist who has worked with various psychological tools for the last 20/30 years. It just shows how well the unconscious covers.

Occasionally I noticed insecure feelings, I put these down to a previous relationship and had worked on them. However, I found to my surprise when Chrissie [Hardisty] and Silvia [Hartmann-Kent] introduced me to EFT in Gatwick UK last year that these feelings came from 1970 when I left a very strict religious sect. Leaving this sect entailed leaving my parents, brother, sister and all of my friends. I was highly motivated to do this for my own children's future life as well as being free myself, but it was still very hard. However, I didn't realise the tremendous impact of underlying sadness this had had on my life until I started doing EFT on the insecure feelings which turned out to be anticipatory sadness of losing other people I love. I cannot describe how good it now feels to be truly safe, happy and free of these feelings. I can now enjoy my life, my children and my grandchildren.

For anyone reading this who feels they have nothing to gain from using EFT, I would say go on and surprise yourself. You could be in for a real treat. Thank you to Chrissie for lovingly encouraging me and to Silvia for her truly inspirational teaching.

Love from Mair,
