Hi Everyone,

Judith Anderson from Australia helps a new acquaintance wipe out a fear of birds.

Hugs, Gary

By Judith Anderson

I was on a holiday on Lord Howe Island, and it turned out that one of the group, Fay, was extremely afraid of birds, and ran away when our guide "called down" some sea birds to land near us. The next day she also "departed the scene" when the tour guide was feeding Currajongs (a big black bird).

The opportunity for applying EFT came when we were at an early morning BBQ by the sea and Fay was sitting next to me on a bench. When she saw some ducks waddling towards us 30 feet away, she became very frightened. I just turned to her and said I'm going to help you, I'm going to tap on your face like this (I demonstrated on myself), now watch the ducks. I proceeded to tap on her, short version, then they waddled away and she relaxed.

But I asked her about other times she had been afraid of birds and we tapped on them. I explained she might have lots of issues that would need tapping on for her to be completely free of the fear, and she said "like an onion". I agreed.

Then the ducks came back and we did three or four complete rounds. When she was down to a 0-10 intensity of "1" I had her put eyes up to the sky and slowly lower them to the ground, and she was "0".

A few minutes later we entered into the spirit of the BBQ and I then found her chasing the ducks offering them bread!!!!!!! I reminder her that she couldn't have done that about 10 minutes ago, and she agreed.

She has other fears, and I noticed her tapping on herself whenever she could, and as she lives in another country (New Zealand) I gave her the EFT web site and told her of the free manual. This was done in "public" in front of 10 others, so it was a very good outcome I felt, and I was and am still thrilled that I could help. (I'm not a professional, I just use EFT as one would use one's first aid kit.)
