Hi Everyone,

Follow this detailed case wherein Debbie Falzon eliminates many, many aspects of an intense fear of flying. This was all done "in the client's mind" 6 weeks before the flight and in a location where there was no airplane to test the work. I've done this several times and it is a real jaw dropper when the client gets in the airplane with nary a fear.

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary,

I met a lady some time ago at a business networking event when I was fairly new to EFT. She had heard of EFT but didn't know anyone who used the techniques. She said she was due to fly to England (from Australia) in approx 6 weeks time and had an intense fear of flying which was getting progressively worse with each flight. She also joked that her husband had flown with her once and refused to ever fly with her again.

She came and saw me the following week and said anxiety about any flight begins a few weeks beforehand and, in the week just prior to the flight, she experiences a bad case of diarrhea. She threw her hands up and shook her head as she said "I don't even want to think about it".

Obviously she was a bit anxious and I wanted to take the edge off it with a few global EFT rounds before getting into anything specific. We had only done one global round when her hands gripped the side of the chair so tightly her knuckles were white. Her breathing became very constricted, she had her eyes shut tight, jaw clenched and every muscle in her body was tense.

It took me completely by surprise - was I thankful I had watched the EFT course and Steps to Becoming the Ultimate Therapist DVDs - so I immediately started tapping for her through the points very quickly as I was saying "Even though you're terrified and can hardly breathe you're all right, you can accept yourself even though you have this breathing constriction etc" until her breathing normalized.

She was still tense and gripping the side of the chair with her eyes shut and jaw clenched and this is how she was for the majority of the session while we chased the pain from a stabbing pain in her head, tightness in the chest, cramps in her calves, to pain and sickness in the stomach. This was such an intense session with so many physical aspects that were all a 10 or close to it I just kept tapping on each one until it subsided.

At the end of the session she was relaxed and felt calm and didn't feel pain or tension anywhere so I asked her to imagine it was a week before her flight. There was a little intensity so we did a round on that. Next I asked her to think about packing for her flight. There was a little intensity so we did a round on that. I then had her close her eyes and imagine putting her luggage in the car and driving to the airport, getting on the plane, sitting in her seat, the take off, landing and finally walking off the plane to collect her luggage. We stopped whenever there was any intensity and did another round of EFT until she was able to go through it entirely with no intensity whatsoever.

I sent her an email to follow up on our session and find out how her flight went and she replied everything was fine - unbelievable!

Debbie
