Intense face pain fades for EFT professional -- an outside look made the difference

Important Note: This article was written prior to 2010 and is now outdated. Please use my newest advancement, Optimal EFT. It is more efficient, more powerful and clearly explained in my free e-book, The Unseen Therapist™.  Best wishes, Gary

Hi Everyone,

I worked with seasoned EFT'er Baerbel Froehlin on stage as part of our Mastering EFT program (now on DVD). As is often the case, it is difficult to find our own issues and thus it helps to have an outsider (me, in this case) take a look. She is now pain free and I think the road she took after our filmed session will be of interest to many.

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary!

I'm a lucky woman.

When we talked on the phone and you asked me about the pain issue we had worked on in Denver last year, I had completely forgotten about it!  Here is the update I promised you.

We had a long session on stage in Denver at the "Mastering EFT" workshop.  I had explained that I had severe chronic pain on the right side of my head, that often felt like a screw was pulled tight. It affected the whole right side of my head, including the eye, ear and jaw.

The pain was intense; no pain meds had given any relief.  Vicodin could only give me a pain-free hour.  At night I could not put my head on that side while sleeping.

I had been unsuccessful so far to get relief by using EFT on it.  Several times I had received cortisone injections in the head; the doctor talked about scar tissue causing the pain.  The injections didn't do much.  Only for a short time there was a slight decrease in pain; after a few days the pain increased again.  By then I was afraid of being so severely debilitated soon that my therapy work would have to suffer.

I remember, in our session the pain would leave some and then shoot up again, depending what we were talking about.  After the session I had already noticed that the pain was less and stayed less.  During the first few weeks after Denver I noticed that a few times only the pain came back with the same intensity it had before our session.  The big change was that now I had much more time with only little discomfort.  I did not do EFT on it again; it just felt as if "I was done.”

Then there were a few times when the pain hit hard again, just out of the blue.  By then I had found a book about simple acupressure techniques.  After I had figured out where to apply strong pressure to get relief from headaches, my pain disappeared completely for days.  After that, whenever I felt a little bit of discomfort, it became a habit to apply pressure right away until I felt totally fine.

Today I live without pain.  You could say I got my life back!

I have done so much work on my own issues for years that it never dawned on me I needed another person to work with me.  I know we all stand in our own way sometimes; we are not able to be "neutral" in the way we look at our issues and ourselves.  I do believe working with you was the much needed solution to my problem.

Thank you so much, Gary!

Big hugs to you…….
