Hernia relief: "Mom, how did you do that?"

Important Note: This article was written prior to 2010 and is now outdated. Please use my newest advancement, Optimal EFT. It is more efficient, more powerful and clearly explained in my free e-book, The Unseen Therapist™.  Best wishes, Gary

Hi Everyone,

Listen in as Dawn Norton describes her use of EFT for her son's hernia pain.  Note that when the Dr. examined him afterwards, the was no sign of a hernia.

Hugs, Gary

Dear Gary,

I am a newcomer to EFT, but am enjoying the EFT Course and Steps Toward Becoming The Ultimate Therapist DVDs. I feel as though I have finally found my mission as I have always been interested in alternative healing methods. Well, healing is the key word here.

I had been using EFT in a mechanical way for a couple of weeks (with shortcuts) when I decided to try it on my 13 yr old son who had recently been diagnosed with an inguinal hernia. Our choices had been to have surgery, or wait and see and have surgery later. He had been cleared for playing football but was having considerable pain on practicing and playing games.

So, one night I asked him if he would like me to try the technique on him. We went through three rounds including the 9 gamut with, "Even though I have this hernia pain, I'm a great kid!" He started out with a 0-10 pain level of 7. Went to 4 the first round and then 2 the second round. On round three as I completed the round, he got a big smile on his face and said, "Mom, how did you do that?" He felt a release of pain.

For several weeks after, I asked him every few days if he had been experiencing any pain, even a twinge. He repeatedly told me no, he had not experienced any pain and finally became quite exasperated with me, so I quit asking. I was just so relieved for him as a mom. Who wants their child to go through surgery?

I then began to wonder and hope if there had also been an actual physical healing. I took him in yesterday for a followup. I explained to the Dr that he had not been feeling any pain. The Dr examined him and said very matter of factly, "I don't feel any evidence of a hernia." When I explained to him the previous severity (another Dr had examined him before), he seemed reservedly surprised. I was ecstatic.

I am so grateful for this success and the many others I have had with less than expert hands. I eat up every edition of the newsletter and try the things that have worked for the many experts who contribute. Thanks to everyone for helping me make a difference. I taught my first class of three students last week with great success on a variety of issues.

Sincerely, Dawn Norton
