I am a body-centered coach working with manifestation here in NE Scotland.  I’ve held the intention of Perfect Health for the last few years  and noticed changes like not getting colds anymore … which is GREAT, but I was still dealing with having asthma symptoms that required daily medication to keep under control.  This was frustrating for me as a Law of Attraction coach!

Someone mentioned EFT years ago, and I read that it had a high success rate, but was somewhat skeptical that it would work on me.  Since I am willing to try almost anything once, I downloaded the manual, skimmed through it and tapped on my asthma, albeit for just a few minutes, with no results.  Even so, the testimonials on your site were truly convincing and I believed EFT worked - just not for ME!

It was only after recommending EFT to yet another person in one of my manifestation workshops, that I realized I needed to do a training and get a deeper experience for myself - there must be something I was missing.  So recently I manifested the opportunity to do a 3 day EFT practitioners training with Karl Dawson.  I am BLOWN away by my results!!

I've had mild to medium intensity asthma since childhood, with many trips to the emergency room.  On the first day of the training, after only 10 minutes of tapping (facilitated by Karl during the Constricted Breathing demo - just the words “constricted breathing” were enough to trigger me to an intensity of 8!)  I cleared my immediate symptoms. 

With another hour of focused tapping at home that evening, I experienced clear breathing without my inhaler and the first really good night’s sleep in a long time.

So far, I have gone over 3 weeks without ANY asthma medication!  Before EFT, I used my inhaler at least twice a day, usually more.  I have not changed my diet at all...  As of this writing, I only have occasional stress - and exercise-induced symptoms that I tap on, and they are reducing in intensity.  I feel certain that these will completely clear with persistence.

For years I have ALWAYS carried an inhaler with me - now I feel confident enough to leave the house without it, since I can tap any symptoms away in a few minutes!  I always imagined having such freedom, but was too afraid to risk being without my medication.

In addition to tapping on my immediate symptoms, I have tapped on many aspects: fear of being unsafe in the world, fear of not being able to breathe, my addiction to my inhaler, childhood memories (my anger and fear, father and mother’s anger and fear) and issues around the original trauma (not being wanted by my father, reluctant abortion attempts by my mother, etc.)  I’m glad I knew my birth and conception stories, it really helped me to know where to focus for the setups.

Some of the setup phrases I used:  (I can’t remember all of them because I was often tapping in the middle of the night, half asleep and just intuitively following what came up.)  Even though I am afraid I’ll never be free of this asthma...  Even though I’m afraid to be free of this asthma...  Even though I DON’T want to be free of this asthma...  Even though I’m not safe in this world...  Even though my mom was scared...  Even though my dad didn’t want me...  Even though my mom was angry, because my dad didn’t want me...  Even though my mom didn’t feel safe...

I shouted out the setup to deal with reversal when I got stuck.  I relied on my intuition to know how long to tap; following body symptoms initially, then the thoughts that came up while I tapped.  Chasing the “pain” is the main way I worked.

I mostly did the full sequence, adding in the 9-gamut occasionally and the floor to ceiling eye roll.  I paid attention to my release symptoms (mostly burping and yawning) to know how long to tap - I just kept tapping until I stopped releasing!  My tapping “sessions” were usually 5-15 minutes long.  I probably tapped for a total of an hour a day (still do actually, but now I’m working on releasing my allergies!)

Though I’ve known about the prenatal trauma for a few years and I had done lots of body-centered coaching on myself and also tried other energy healing modalities, I wasn’t able to get to the root of the issue.  I am thinking that it may have been a case of psychological reversal that kept me stuck for so long.  Now I am forgetting that it was even an issue for me!  I am SO HAPPY!!!

I’ve had over 20 clients since the training and ALL have experienced some level of relief, with several success stories that I’ll share separately.

The way I coach is very congruent with EFT, and I’ve easily integrated it into my practice.  It’s by far the most effective body-centered tool I have used since I started coaching 6 years ago.  My clients and community are benefiting immensely and I am forever grateful!
