Surrogate EFT restores ailing dog's appetite
Important Note: This article was written prior to 2010 and is now outdated. Please use my newest advancement, Optimal EFT. It is more efficient, more powerful and clearly explained in my free e-book, The Unseen Therapist™. Best wishes, Gary
Hi Everyone,
For those interested in using EFT for animals here is a brief, but instructive, example by Hilary Jupp from England.
Hugs, Gary
We took in a young German Shepherd bitch that was needing a home. She was very thin but had absolutely no interest in food. She'd pick bits out of her bowl and spit them out on the floor and just push them around with her nose, actually eating very little. We tried hand-feeding but she'd spit it on the floor. She seemed healthy otherwise so, before taking her to the vet, I thought I'd try EFT on her appetite problem.
I did surrogate tapping on myself (as though I was her) for everything I could think of around the issue:
"I am Sheba and even though I have no appetite...."
"I can't bear the smell of food..."; "The sight of food disgusts me....";
"I just don't want to eat..."; "Seeing food makes me feel ill..."
I spent fifteen minutes doing the tapping and completed it an hour before feeding time. Previously she had been completely uninterested and had almost to be dragged to her feeding station. This time she was bouncing and eager, rushed straight to her bowl and gobbled down the whole lot! That was six months' ago and she's still eating as though there was no tomorrow.
