Hi Everyone,

Let me gratefully acknowledge Marilyn Johnson for sharing with us yet another creative use for EFT. Marilyn, by the way, is not a professional therapist. Rather, she comes from the client perspective and has pursued various energy procedures on her own. Like so many, she experiments with EFT to "see what else it can do."

In this example, she chose to "program her dreams" (my term) to create answers and insights for a problem in her life.

Great idea! Enormous potential!

Ideas and insights are among our most valuable commodities and are responsible for countless improvements in the quality of our lives. It could be argued that ideas are the most valuable assets we have because, from them, spring just about anything you can name. Virtually every product or technique you use came from an idea. This includes, of course, EFT.

So, what about using EFT & Dreams to provide ideas aimed at solving worldwide political problems? Or business problems? Or relationship problems? Inventors could make superb use of this idea as could teachers, artists, writers and performers. Just use EFT to release any "dreaming blocks" and then go to sleep.

Is this idea tried and tested? No, of course not. We only have Marilyn's anecdotal report to start with. But does it make sense given all our previous experiences with EFT? Sure! It is likely to have major merit. But we will only know how robust its use might be if more people give it a try. My guess is that we have a few dreamers out there who might spend a few minutes programming their dreams before the sandman comes. If so, let me know. Do it a few nights in a row and let me know what happens.

Here's Marilyn's message.

Hugs, Gary

Gary,

Just wanted to share with you a wonderful experience with EFT I had last night. I have been grappling with a personal problem and not making any headway, so I thought I would plant in my subconscious before I went to sleep the thought that I would have a very meaningful dream that would provide an answer/insight into how to deal with this. So right before going to bed I tapped for "Even though I won't have a dream that will give me an answer to this problem."

GC COMMENT: Other ways to word this might be...

"Even though I am stuck on this problem of __________ and want my dreams tonight to provide an answer or insight...."

"Even though my dream state may not be open to providing an answer or insight to my problem of______...."

"Even though I may resist the ability of my dreams to provide an answer or insight to my problem of _________..."

MARILYN CONTINUES: All night long I had dream after vivid dream, full of symbolism and meaning for me. No one dream provided "The Answer," but all of them put together, when remembering their high points, provided a whole profound "sense" of what I was to do. And after every dream (about 5 of them) I was "awakened" so I would remember them.

It was so great!

Marilyn Johnson
