Free to pee

Important Note: This article was written prior to 2010 and is now outdated. Please use my newest advancement, Optimal EFT. It is more efficient, more powerful and clearly explained in my free e-book, The Unseen Therapist™.  Best wishes, Gary

Hi Everyone,

During a recent seminar, Craig Penner was open to work onstage with me regarding his decades long problem known as "Bashful Bladder." If you are not familiar with it, Bashful Bladder inhibits one from urinating in public places such as at the urinal in the men's bathroom. The "pee-muscle" constricts and it's as though God sends forth the eleventh commandment..."Thou shalt not pee."

Anyway, we spent an open and humorous session together and, about an hour later, he was able to pee in the men's restroom. Our work together has continued to hold as Craig describes in the latter part of his letter below.

Peace, Gary

Dear Gary,

Thanks for a great seminar. You did a wonderful job organizing, presenting and including inspiring guests. Bill Tiller and Fred Gallo were great, as was Michael, the acupuncturist/OMD. Your energy and openness were contagious, and your work was a very valuable model. This was the only training I have ever attended where the presenter called all the participants ahead of time to be sure he knew what they wanted to learn, and to tailor the training as much as possible. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

I've improved my utilization of EFT greatly since the seminar, largely by trusting myself more and becoming more fluid with this as process work. I'm finding strong value in giving added life to the affirmations, tapping where the Guidance tells me to, and leaving the "mechanics" further in the background. YES!

I agree whole-heartedly with your trust in intuition. There was one point where I thought you were saying that your intuition can help you to use all that you know re: the tapping points. While I agree with this, I experience that intuition can also lead us to points we haven't been taught, if we trust it. I imagine you would agree with this, since you surely demonstrated your trust in your intuition to guide your words beyond what you would have thought.

I've got good news to report on the peeing front. All successes since our session on stage. And I'm having fun with my newfound freedom. Many thanks to you for the work, and to all the big-hearted seminar members who made it a safe and comfortable place to finish off what has been a frustrating and embarrassing issue for many years. Feel free to report my success to the second seminar group (or post this), if you tell stories about the first seminar.

Also, I've got to tell you this funny little story about a great Freudian slip made by a 13 year old girl as she was working on her issues with anger. As we did the set up, on the 3rd repetition of the affirmation she said, "Even though I have this problem with anger, I deeply and completely upset myself." Our 3 minutes of uncontrolled laughter together surely wiped out any remaining reversal.

Thanks again for all your love, energy, efforts, generosity, wisdom, wit and song.

Big hugs,

Craig Penner
