Using EFT for feeling like a failure

Rebecca Marina walks us through a delightful process for "picking ourselves up" when we are tailspinning into one of those funky periods where we are feeling like a loser. There are many good uses of language here.

Have you ever had a time in your life where you just felt like a great big loser? Like you just couldn't do anything right?

It's usually at this kind of circumstance that the "inner critic" jumps in and starts criticizing like crazy!

Well, I recently felt like that and of course there is a big lesson in it and I wanted to share it with you. We are like a big family and I often share the lessons I am going through with you because I am so very human and because you can get the benefit of the lesson too.

Have you ever noticed that when one bad thing happens it seems like right away something else bad happens and pretty soon your chin is dragging on the ground and you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders?

So, since this happened to me and since I know from all my work with energy that if you get into that downward spiral, you better do SOMETHING QUICK or you will be in really big energetic trouble. So, when I had my little discouraging day, I knew I needed to get my energy shifted and quick.

I went into my office and started journaling about the whole rotten day I had experienced. I find just the act of writing it down helps to get it moving out of the system. Then, I turned to good ole EFT to release my negative vibrations and shift them into the upward direction. Here are some of the setups I used. Very soon thereafter, I was feeling downright BUBBLY!

Set ups for General Discouragement

(I find it helpful to exaggerate the negative before bringing in the positive)

"Even though I feel like a great big LOSER, I love and accept myself".

"Even though I feel lower than a worm"

"Even though my vibrations are low right now"

"Even though I got discouraged"

"Even though I feel I bit off more than I could chew"

"Even though I feel all alone"

OK_ now it is time to bring in some of the positive (Dr P Carrington choices method)

"Even though I am feeling discouraged, I ask and allow my reticular formation to find and bring to my awareness, more and more things that bring me joy" (The reticular formation is that part of the brain that acts like a radar and finds things that are important to you.) This is on Gary's video.

"I ask and allow the energy of happiness to come forth now"

"I am willing and open to receive great things from the Universe."

"Even though my vibrations have been a little down, I ask and allow them to be raised higher and higher"

"I ask and allow the energy of happiness to flood my being"

"I ask and allow the energy of encouragement to lift me up"

"I ask and allow pure joy to flow though my being now."

"I willingly forgive anyone who had anything to do with me feeling down."

I always try to find things to focus on that make me happy. It is easy for me to get happy while listening to some great MOTOWN oldies. try it!

Now here are some EFT setups for when we feel like a failure with Money Issues. I think this is one area where all of us had had trouble a time or two.

"Even though I have trouble with money sometime, I choose to handle money more wisely and am open to every assistance in this department."

"Even though I have been beating myself up, I forgive myself for

everything and let myself off the hook"

"Even though I feel like I can't manage my money "

"Even though I tried to be a big shot and failed"

"Even though I feel like an idiot who can't handle money "

"Even though I feel like it is no use even trying"

"Even though I feel so overwhelmed by my money troubles"

Now, let's bring in the positive....

Even though I have made a big mess of my finances, I release the need to beat myself up; I embrace the energy of a creative solution.

I embrace the opportunity for un-expected and exciting solutionsto come to me.

I embrace the the flow of money and resources to me now,

I release the need to have to figure it out BEFORE it can come to me.

I am open to receive.

I release any resistance to receiving all the good God has for me.

Here are some setups when you feel like a failure in the LOVE department.

Even though I feel unworthy to be loved, I love and accept myself.

Even though I keep making the same old mistakes in love, I love and forgive myself.

Even though I really lost my self respect, I deeply and completely accept myself

Even if I never find true love, I deeply and completely love myself anyway.

Even though it hurts so badly, I look for the lesson in this relationship

Even though I may never get over this, I choose to do the best I can.

Even though I may never trust anyone again, I choose to release guilt and blame.

I choose to learn from this and move forward,

I choose to turn over a fresh new leaf.

I choose to give myself the love I can't seem to find outside myself.

I choose to honor my wonderful self in all ways.

I choose to forgive myself and everyone else,

I am sooooo wonderful and have so much love to share;

I am trusting in Divine timing.

All is well.

So, Gary, after using these setups, I was ready to get back out there and take on the world with passion and enthusiasm
