Hi Everyone,

Wasp stings are mega-painful and often take a 1 to 3 days to subside. Imagine Linda Thompson's relief to have it disappear after 4 rounds of EFT. Please consult physicians on all medical issues.

Hugs, Gary

Hi Gary!

I flew to Ontario from Nova Scotia last month which was quite an accomplishment for me by itself since I have MS.  I arrived at my parents home and was keen to start working on them right away with EFT because that was the sole purpose of my visit: I had experienced so much relief working on myself that I wanted to share it with them.

After their treatments they both had a nap and so I went out into the garden to see if there were any unresolved issues I needed to work on.  The house itself had no emotional charges about it so I was interested to see how I would feel outside the house.

I wandered around the yard with bare feet thinking about growing up there when all of a sudden I "felt" something.  WOW!!  It was really painful and was on the bottom of my right foot.  I thought perhaps I was stepping on glass but the pain became more and more intense.  I looked at my foot and there was a wasp stuck to it!  I have not been stung since I was about 7 and so I had no idea what the reaction was going to be.

I stumbled into the house in a panic but did not want my parents to see or hear anything.  The pain intensity was probably as close to a 10 as possible.  I sat alone on the stairs and began EFT, which I could barely remember how to do as I was shaking and hyperventilating.  I didn't do the setup statement as I figured I was pretty tuned in to the problem ;o).  I just tapped on the first 7 spots beginning with the eyebrow saying "this sting", "this painful sting".  After about 3 rounds it went down to a very manageable 1.  I then added in the 9 gamut (just in case) and after one more round it was gone.  There was the slightest little red mark which disappeared later that day and I pretty well forgot about it as it was no longer an issue.

The unfortunate thing was that the only person who saw this dazzling display of EFT was me and so no one else was particularly impressed.  It seems people are more impressed with a big sore, itchy, red welt than the fact that EFT completely eradicated a very nasty wasp sting.  Oh well, I'm OK with that.

Cheers, Linda
